EulaGuard ("the Extension") is a browser extension that analyzes Terms of Service and Privacy Policy documents. Your privacy is fundamental to our mission.
What We Collect
Page Content (Transient)
When you click "Analyze This Page," the Extension extracts text content from the current tab and sends it to our API (api.eulaguard.com) for analysis. This text is:
- Processed in real-time
- Not stored on our servers after analysis
- Not associated with your identity
What We Do NOT Collect
- No browsing history
- No personal information
- No cookies or tracking
- No analytics or telemetry
- No data from pages you don't explicitly analyze
Permissions

Local Storage
Analysis results are cached in your browser's local storage for 1 hour to avoid redundant API calls. This data never leaves your browser and can be cleared via Chrome settings.
Third-Party Services
EulaGuard API (api.eulaguard.com): Receives page text for analysis. All communication uses HTTPS encryption.
Data Security
All communication with our API uses HTTPS encryption.
Children's Privacy
EulaGuard does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted at this URL and noted in extension updates.
